The Philippine Chess Delegation leave for Tarakan, Indonesia on Indepedence Day

06.12.2011.  Our team leave the Philippines on the celebration of the Philippine Independence Day.

This will be my first time to travel without any of my parents. Hope it won`t be that hard.   To solicit fund from a generous sponsors was so hard plus the last minute arrangements made it more impossible for my either of my parents to join the delegation.  This day is my Independence Day!

There are two batches flying to Tarakan, Indonesia.  We are with the first batch which flight is at 7:20 AM.  And the next batch will be at 9:00 PM.  We are accompanied by GM Jayson Gonzales, Mr.Neri and Mr. Infesto in our flight together with parents Mrs. Mary Ann San Diego, Mrs. Glo Revita and Mr. Canino.  We hope to be back in the Philippines with much much glory to bring home!

Our team - 12 Boys Under : Samantila, de Leon and Ibaooc.

12th ASEAN Age Group Philippine Delegation

GOOD LUCK TO OUR PHILIPINE DELEGATION!

These shall be our delegation...or lesser I think.  Maybe some encountered problems in their passport because of such short notice.  But anyway, many are joining because NCFP was able to pull through it all after all the obstacles.  To all our Filipino chess fanatics, please pray for our contingent safe trip and good games.

My scholastic and chess medals

These are the medals I garnered during my elementary days.

Championship medals I got for playing chess.
I got my first chess medal when I was in grade 2.

My school medals I got from school quiz bee, math, science, computer and other literature and arts contests.  And of course, medals I received from being a consistent honor student from my grade 1 to grade 6.
