Daryl Champions 3rd Leviste Cup Grade School Division

Yes!, for the 3rd time, I finally made it! Proudly displaying my trophy, which I share to my teammates, my friends, my coach Chris Rodriguez, my family Papa Rey, Mama Dina and sister Dindin, to our beloved Malabon Mayor Tito Oreta. Two wins in a row! I am grateful for the trainings I had with GM Bong Villamayor.
My training under him has added greatly to my skills and talent. He helped me to set my games to the next level. And I thanked him for the opportunity to be one of his students. With the goal of being a good chess player it compliments my other training with my coach Chris Rodriguez.

Looking for Varsity Chess Players

Adamson University is looking for varsity chess player applicants (high school and college). You may contact us through this website or just email daryl_unix@yahoo.com for details when and where will be the try-out. Or look for Coach Chris Rodriguez at Adamson SV Building, every saturday. Thank you.

My training sessions

Blindfolded chess.

Blindfold chess is a way to play chess, whereby play is conducted without the players having sight of the positions of the pieces, or any physical contact with them. This forces players to maintain a mental model of the positions of the pieces. Moves are communicated via a recognized chess notation. (source: Wikipedia)
I made no illegal moves... And I won this game!
Finished the game with a back rank mate by Rook with a Queen and Knight combination.

Regular training from morning ....

till night... Mga kuya, lowbat na kayo noh! Well, ako rin eh. =)
