    Hi Daryl,
    good luck to you. Study hard and always listen to your parents advises. Don't forget about your studies at school too. That is very important. learn from GM Gata Kamsky. He's a great chess player but a great student at school too! When he is not playing chess, he reads books and do his homework regularly. He rarely watch TV shows unless they are educational. Now look at him. Not only he's one of the top grandmaster in the world but he is also one of the most successful lawyer in New York.

    I AM INVITING YOU TO JOIN THE MERALCO TOURNAMENT ON OCTOBER 17 SAT AT MERALCO LOPEZ BLDG. I AM PLANNING TO CALL IT THE GM BALINAS MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN MEMORY OF MERALCO GM ROSENDO BALINAS. IT WILL BE A 5-ROUNDER SWISS ON RAPID PLAY WITH THE TOP 4 ADVANCING TO A CROSSOVER KO AND THE WINNERS PLAY IN A KO FINALS.

    CHAMPIONS LIKE YOU, PAULO, KAREN AND ALSO SHELL FINALISTS SUCH AS GIO MEJIA ARE FREE OF CHARGE. OTHERS WILL BE CHARGED AN ENTRY FEE OF P100 BUT WE WILL BE LIMITING THE ENTRIES TO JUST 50 PLAYERS. I DON'T HAVE MUCH DETAILS YET BUT LILET BERSAMINA AND ME ARE ALREADY DISCUSSING ABOUT IT. BUT DEFINITELY, THERE WOULD BE BEST GS AND BEST HS PRIZES. PLAYERS FROM MERALCO CHESS CLUB WILL ALSO BE JOINING THE EVENT SUCH AS MMLDC VETERANS MORTE'S, DEL ROSARIO'S, SALTORIO'S, DELA CRUZ, MABUGAT'S, CABUGAO.
