Other Palaro players were also in the airport. The badminton, basketball and other teams all waiting for the only PAL flight for the day going to the province of Dipolog.
Arrived there at around 11:00am, buses were waiting for the delegates.
We were transported to Sulangon, Dipolog and we were billited at the Sulangon Central School.
Everything were provided, beddings, toiletries and food and more food. At least we won`t worry for that since we are in a remote place in a barrio. But our room is quite small for all the boys than those for the girls. Military men are guarding our safety. Everybody were courteous.
May 5. Screening day at Jose Rizal State Memorial College. Interviews were done for all the athletes. We have to wait hours for our turn. Did you know that one way of screening, knowing the real age of a player is through their teeth. Smile! : )

May 6. A time for going some places. Dakak! We don`t know actually how to get there. We rented 3 single motorcycles, one means of transportation going to that hidden place in Dipolog. Me and my father were behind my coach and 2 more players. We noticed that we were already far behind our companions and the man taking us for the ride kept on asking many questions while we trek the rough terrain going to Dakak. Finally, we say Coach Chris waiting for us. He noticed also that we are lagging far behind already that is why he told the driver to stop and wait for us. Finally, we reached Dakak and saw the other players already enjoying the beautiful sand and water of Dakak. We did not stay so long, just a few hours and then we go back to Dapitan at around lunchtime. We arrived safe. Thanks God!
May 7, practice.. matches... It was raining again. Still wondering how tomorrow`s opening will proceed with the original schedule.. maybe on a later time. There was a conflict. The Manny - Mosley Fight free viewing at the same venue.
