NCR Chess Team Broke Palaro Record

05.10.11 -  An old record of 7-0 was broke and a new record of 8-0 was recorded by this year`s 2011 Palarong Pambansa NCR Chess Team composed of:
Elementary boys: Daryl Unix R. Samantila & John Fleer Donguines
Elementary girls: Janela Joyce Gamayot & Ares Abigail Ocampos
Secondary girls: Arvie Lozano & Cherry Ann Mejia
Secondary boys: Bryan Barcelon & Giovanni Mejia

It was actually a decade old record according to Coach Henrisky Mariano who was overwhelmed of the teams performance in Round 2.
