01.30.2011. DARYL UNIX R. SAMANTILA topped the Under-14 'Standard' Chess Tournament event organized by Metropolitan Chess Club (MCC) held last January 20, 2011 at MCC HQ at Eton Cyperpod in Pasig City.
Samantila scored 4.5 points in five games of play to win the championships` title.
Other winners are Carlos Presente (3.5 pts), Gino Cabual, Jose Carlos and Jose Lat.
