2011 China-ASEAN Junior Chess Classic Competition

The Philippine age group team backed up by NCFP chairman/ president Prospero "Butch" Pichay Jr. and Tolentino, Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Ricardo Garcia and the Philippine Olympic Committee will participate in the first edition of 2011 China-ASEAN junior chess classic competition from August 23 to 28, 2011 in Kunming City, Yunnan Province China.

The China-ASEAN Youth Chess Classic Tournament 2011 is jointly organized by Kunming Sports Development, Kunming Chess Association and Jinma Chess Club under the auspices of ASEAN Chess Confederation and Chinese Chess Association.

23 Aug:    Opening ceremony
                 Round 1& Round 2
24 Aug:    Round 3 & Round 4

25 Aug: Rest days and Sightseeing

26 Aug:  Round 5 & Round 6
27 Aug: Round 7 & Round 8
             Closing Ceremony

Age Group: Top-4 Under 8,U10,U12 (Boys & Girls)

PRIZE: Medal for the Best Age Group
            Medal for the Best Top-3 each Categories age-group
